When prepping for a vacation or even just a little downtime, deciding which books to get into is obviously the most important decision. Normally, I’m very much in favor of a series. Sometimes, however, especially when the beach and/or pool are involved, a standalone is exactly what’s called for. No backstory required. Read it in one sitting. Boom! (And then if you’re feeling ambitious, you can just pick up another.) Fill out your summer TBR with these fantastic one-night standalones!
