Dear Dreamers,

My debut is a book that walks the line between heroic and villainous, just as it was inspired by the strange (and oftentimes forbidden) visions that haunt us when we sleep. As an avid dreamer, lover of gothic fairy tales, and self-proclaimed “seeker of all things fantastic,” I was deeply entranced by Esmer’s world while writing it; it’s an eerie, twisted realm that begs us to explore what happens when our fears and deepest desires collide.

At its core, the novel invites readers into a world where courage is tested, beauty emerges from fractured places, and love ignites in a gothic castle haunted by monsters. It’s a lovely, wicked dream.

Originally an indie author, I had the privilege of first sharing Esmer’s story directly with readers, whose enthusiasm gave Dream by the Shadows a life beyond my imagination. Every heartfelt message and review showed me the power of Esmer’s story to connect with others, and I am thankful for this opportunity to bring this darkly romantic tale to many more readers who seek mystery, magic, and a love worth braving the darkest shadows for.
