About the Author
Serhii Plokhy is Mykhailo Hrushevsky Professor of Ukrainian History at Harvard University. He is the author of numerous books, including The Last Empire, for which he received the Lionel Gelber Prize, and Chernobyl, for which he received the Baillie Gifford Prize. Plokhy lives in Burlington, Massachusetts.
